Deck of Cards - Digital Arts Project
ASSIGNMENT
One of the assignments in my digital arts education was to design a deck of playing cards, and a box for them. We were instructed to showcase our design using an Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10. The geometric design at the end is the back of the cards.
These had to be printed and cut to be showcased as actual cards, with a properly folded and functioning box.
DESIGN INSPIRATION
I have always loved minimal designs. I had many ideas while brainstorming but my favorite was this concept of an all black deck, with a minimal but well-structured and visually appealing layout. Despite the simplistic design I invested extensive care and attention-to-detail in the creation of these cards and I believe that proves itself to be evident.
