Menu for an American Bistro

I collaborated with a team of graphic designers to develop a full marketing campaign for Bistro Americana, a modern American-style restaurant concept. Together, we conducted research, built a unified brand identity, and established shared visual elements—including color palettes, typography, and graphic motifs—to ensure consistency across all of our design material.

Within the campaign, each team member was responsible for designing individual pieces. One of my primary contributions was the in-house menu design. My goal was to create a layout that aligned with the overall brand while remaining clean, readable, and visually appealing. The final menu complemented the broader campaign materials—such as billboards, social media ads, signage, and print collateral—and helped reinforce a cohesive brand experience.

"Elements of Design" Poster

In my first design class, we explored the fundamental elements of design—line, shape, form, color, texture, space, and value. Each student was assigned one element and tasked with creating a poster that visually represented it using that element as the main focus. I initially felt a bit discouraged when I received “line,” since it seemed like it would be the most dull and limiting of the options. After experimenting with several ideas, I decided to create a flower composed entirely of lines. The project also required us to include the definition of the design element, which for “line” is “the moving path of a point.” We printed and trimmed our final posters ourselves in the school’s print shop.
